Belly Inflation

Carrie and Tia were cleaning up after a big party they had in their apartment.

"That was sure fun!" Carrie said picking up some popped balloons.

"Yeah. Our parents sure wouldn't let us have that kinda fun in each of our houses. Tia replied.

Carrie opened up the closet to put some stuff away. In the floor was a huge box. She brought it out.

"Hey, what's in here?" Carrie asked Tia.

"Balloons. A lot of them. For a lot of parties."

She opened the big box and saw hundreds of bags of balloons.

Angela tossed and turned in her bed for almost an hour before deciding to open her bedroom window, hoping a cool breeze might ease the hot summer night. She tied back the curtains before lighting a citronella candle and placing it on the window sill to keep the bugs out. She laid back down and before closing her eyes again imagined the flickering candle to be that of a candlelit dinner for two. As she focused on the idea of having the reality of a love life, the curtains fluttered and a blue balloon about four inches in diameter drifted in with the breeze.

Medication and an unexpected complication conspire to make Tammy's flight far more eventful than she'd planned.
